You may be entitled to vote if you own a property or occupy a place of business in the municipality since September 18, 2025, or earlier.

You may be entitled to this right if you are, for example:

  • Owner or co-owner of a residential building;

To be entitled to this right, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older on election day
  • Be a Canadian citizen as of November 2, 2025
  • Not be under guardianship nor deprived of your electoral rights on that date

To exercise your right to vote, you must submit a request to be registered on the municipal electoral list.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST

The form to be completed varies depending on your status:

If you are a sole owner of a property or the sole occupant of a place of business, complete the Application for registration form.

If you are a co-owner of a property or a co-occupant of a place of business, you must designate a single person from the group to be registered on the list and complete the Power of attorney for registration form.

For your request to be valid for the 2025 election, the Municipality must receive it no later than the final day set to submit a request for modification before the Revision Commission, which is October 16, 2025.

The registration request or proxy remains valid until it is replaced or withdrawn.
