The MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut is responsible of the management of recyclable materials.

There are 4 solutions for the disposal of residues (paint, electrical appliances, furniture, mattresses, tires, etc.)
1. For batteries of less than 5 kg

2. Mobile ecocenters
The municipality of Lac-des-Seize-Iles does not have an ecocenter. In order to offer this service to its residents, mobile ecocenters are available during the summer.

FAQ: What happens to old paint once they are collected by the ecocenter?
The paint cans will be deposited in the collecting bins of Éco-Peinture. They will then be sent to a factory in Victoriaville to be recycled. To know more, click here.
